Six years across B2B SaaS, consumer mobile, and the kind of internal tools nobody writes case studies about. I work small, ship often, and make things that feel honest.

Section 01 / 04

I’ve spent six years convincing teams that the best interface is the one you barely notice, and the rest of the time learning when to ignore that rule entirely. I work mostly in B2B SaaS and consumer mobile apps (really good at it), where the cost of a sloppy moment is a churned account or a lost user, and I like that pressure. It keeps the work honest.

01

Make the small things great

Loading states, error copy, the empty inbox. The boring 80% is where products earn trust.

02

Slow is a feature

Calmer interfaces. Fewer notifications. Animations that breathe instead of perform.

03

Ship the system, not the screen

Tokens, rules, primitives, so the eighth screen takes an hour, not a sprint.

04

Stay in the kitchen

I prototype in code, sit in support, watch real users. Design without proximity is decoration.

(process) · how I work

A quiet five-step, repeated until it's right.

  1. 01

    Listen

Two weeks of talking. Customers, support, sales, ops. The goal is to find the sentence someone keeps almost saying.

Before pixels, there's a problem I can explain back.
  2. 02

    Frame

One page. The bet, the risk, what we ship first. If we can't fit it on a page, we don't understand it yet.

A brief fits in one breath or it's not a brief.
  3. 03

    Prototype

In code. In Figma. On paper. Whatever the cheapest way to show the team what it feels like is, that's the medium.

Falling in love with fidelity is how projects miss.
  4. 04

    Ship

Small. Dark-launched. Behind a flag. I'd rather see ten people misuse it on Monday than read ten people's opinions on Friday.

The first ship is the first real research.
  5. 05

    Tend

Watch metrics, watch sessions, rewrite the copy, soften the animation, remove the dot. Good products are gardened.

Launch day is the beginning of caring, not the end.

Let’s make

something slow.

I take on one contract at a time and a handful of small advisory calls each month. If you’re shipping something you’d want your parents to use, write.
